As the owners, we are excited to make our move to the countryside of La Porte County. We purchased this property as a multigenerational family with the intentions of making this historic homestead our family home and business. This wonderful property offers a unique and charming venue for us to share with you for all types of events. Homesteaded in 1856, our property features historic barns, an open-air pavilion with a stone fireplace, beautifully- landscaped grounds, and a picturesque pond. We host weddings, corporate events, and private parties, providing personalized services to make each event special and stress-free. Our Bridal Suite (converted in 2020) and Grooms Grotto (built 1910) offer comfortable and unique spaces for getting ready. At Meadowlark Weddings and Events, we combine history with modern convenience to create unforgettable memories for our clients.
